Complementing our on-site and in-house inspection services is our comprehensive test house, the centrepiece being our 120t capacity hydraulic tensile test machine. All Rope & Sling engineers are trained in accordance with the Lifting Equipment Engineers association (LEEA), the world’s leading representative body for all those involved in the industry, and proudly offer a first-class service to customers from all sectors, including those in the steel, petrochemical, shipyard, construction, oil and gas, and other industries.
We are also ISO 9001:2015 accredited, demonstrating commitment to quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, and continual improvement.
Workshop Facilities
RSS has a full in-house manufacturing workshop covering 36,500 sq. ft. The centrepiece is our 1,000t capacity hydraulic wire rope press that can make slings up to 64mm in diameter. Four 150t capacity hydraulic wire rope presses, meanwhile, can manufacture slings up to 22mm in diameter.
Additionally, a fleet of portable hand wire rope presses meet on-site rigging requirements. White metal / resin socketing, hand splicing of fibre and wire rope, and webbing cargo restraint systems, are other key components of our offering.
